Pro Tip: This video demonstrates a technique you can use if your missed approach altitude (MAA) is below your current altitude on an ILS approach and you are instructed to go around. This can come handy for example in Stockholm ARN where the MAA is at 1500ft. 1. You can't press TO/GA since you are above your MAA (you need to descend to your MAA) 2. You cannot deselect APP mode once G/S is captured There are a few other ways you can go about this but I find this one the best. | The 737 Handbook
