Platform Swinging! This activity set up uses a platform swing with a tire for extra postural stability. This swing is a great for rhythmic vestibular swinging, in linear, orbital, or rotary movement patterns, and postural control. You can use this swing in many ways by using the suspended rope like we do in this video, a stretchy rope for added proprioceptive input or have a peer or grown up push you.
