BCB director resigns a day after being elected
Dhaka, June 8 -- Newly elected Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Director Mir Shakhrul Alam Simanto resigned from his position on Monday, just a day after the formation of the board's new committee.
BCB Bancorp appointed Thomas O'Brien, the former head of Sterling Bank & Trust, as its new chief executive. O'Brien has been CEO of six different banking companies over a 48-year career, BCB said.
